The first-half turnovers killed us. We were not disciplined with the ball.

Ashley is an all-around player, but we can always count on her on the offensive end. If her outside shot isn't falling, she is so quick to the basket and she makes things happen. She also follows her shot and can grab two or three offensive rebounds. It is nice to have a 5-foot, 10-inch guard.

Rachel was on fire. She was exploding to the basket and was not shy about getting position and going up strong.

I wanted to be in the top eight. Obviously we would have liked to be a little higher, but moving up was the issue. We are just happy to be where we are.

I was very frustrated with my team throughout the game. (Hesperia Christian) was well prepared for us tonight and gave us a good game.

Until the end of the game I knew that we had attempted only one free throw shot all night. And I told the girls to quit being content with perimeter shots and drive to the basket. It'll get you to the foul line.
